We began as HD Designed, creating identities and small websites for start-ups and small businesses. White-label collaborations helped us grow through the quality of the work.
The name Seventynine Digital reflected a move into larger website builds and more complex briefs for growing organisations.
A major subcontracted website and intranet project expanded our technical experience. Work with two UK clients and South African insurers widened our reach.
A website for a state-owned enterprise in the insurance sector strengthened our experience in complex, accountable digital projects.
A Government Pension Fund website became our largest build to date. Intranet and stakeholder work followed, alongside a growing hosting service.
We broadened into portals, software development and ICT consulting, with specialist partners in cybersecurity and infrastructure. Remote working needs reshaped the briefs we solved.
Our work spread across sectors as we continued to design, build, host and support digital services for organisations with changing needs.
We developed Two-Pot functionality to support pension-related processes, adding another tailored software solution to our portfolio.

Jo Nape spent 11 years at ANOVO UK, a technology repair and reverse logistics company acquired by Ingram Micro in 2015. Progressing from Engineer to Repair Line Manager, he gained hands-on experience in technical operations, team leadership and customer service.
He founded Seventynine Digital in 2015, bringing that ICT experience into brand design, websites and digital systems. His focus remains practical: understand the problem, build a useful solution and support the people who rely on it.
