About Project
Film and Publication Board
We were appointed by the Film and Publication Board (FPB) to design and deliver creative artwork for their #ThinkB4UPost campaign, a national awareness initiative focused on responsible online behaviour and digital citizenship.
Our role was to create high-impact newspaper advertisements that effectively communicated the campaign message to a broad and diverse South African audience. The advertisements were strategically published across leading national publications, including City Press, Daily Sun, Mail & Guardian, and the Sunday Times.
We developed visually striking, message-driven designs tailored for each newspaper’s format and readership, ensuring the campaign resonated across different demographic groups while maintaining a strong, consistent visual identity.
Through this project, Seventynine Digital supported the FPB in driving meaningful conversations around safe and responsible content sharing in the digital space.
Our Client’s Challenge
The Film and Publication Board needed to reach a wide and diverse audience with a critical message around online safety and responsible content sharing. The challenge was to create visually impactful and culturally relevant newspaper advertisements that could resonate across varying age groups, literacy levels, and communities, all while maintaining a consistent campaign identity. Additionally, the artwork had to adhere to strict publication specifications across multiple newspapers.
Our Approach And Solution
We responded with a bold, clear, and adaptable design approach tailored to the unique layout and readership of each publication. We developed a cohesive set of advertisement creatives that aligned with the #ThinkB4UPost message while ensuring maximum visibility and clarity in print. By combining compelling visuals with concise messaging, we helped the FPB extend its campaign reach and reinforce awareness about responsible online behaviour in a way that was both accessible and impactful.
